I agree with most of it, but here are my bones of contention:
1. Spiderman 1 was way worse than the rating, same with the first X-Men.
2. Back to the Future 2 and 3 are worse than their rating would suggest, even more so for Die Hard 2/3.
3. For the Blade series, I would flip the ratings for 1 and 2
4. The original Batman is waaaay underated same goes for the first Jurassic Park.

Quite awesome! Guillermo del Toro pushes Blade 2 up a couple of notches. I love how the only real purpose of these meters is to diss on disliked sequels just a little bit more.
i think we, as a people, in these harsh economic times, look for a way to bully others. And what better way than to pick on movie sequels, the red-headed stepchildren of entertainment?
