Something a little frightening

I saw some articles floating around the web about how big a number 1 trillion is. A number like 1 million, we can handle. I even think a billion (winning the powerball lottery 16 times in a row) is about the limit of what we can comprehend. But to wrap your mind around a number like a trillion is hard work. Think about it this way:

1 million seconds = about 11.5 days
1 trillion seconds = about 32,000 YEARS

our federal deficit = 11.5 trillion....scary.
